In a wonderful place, the Sumidero Canyon in Mexico, Terra Incognita witnessed the rescue of the Arbòl de Navidad. This is a natural national monument. It is a rock looking like a big Christmas tree in the tropical landscape and in the breath-taking canyon. The fall, 200 m high, symbol of Chiapas and tourist attraction, is drying out for unknown reasons. Some rock climbers and speleologists of the geographic organization La Venta manage to give it water and life again: this means to face a 650 m dizzying slope, pass unexpected technical and scientific difficulties, understand the mountain riddles.
